The 100 series is a personal project that explores a different object or process, iterated 100 times. The goal is a refined sense of form and technique, with hopefully new and inventive results along the way that may move on to inspire the next series. The first series, Spoons, explores geometry, form, and hand-carving in a variety of locally harvested hardwoods. Every spoon starts with a sketch.
